Diagnosis & Tests
Laboratory tests can help diagnose this condition. - Bilirubin and "bad" cholesterol (LDL) levels are high.
- Complete blood count (CBC) shows anemia.
- Coombs test is negative.
- Donath-Landsteiner test is positive.
- Level of hemoglobin in the blood is increased during attacks.
