Symptoms & Signs
- Fever, generally 102 degrees F or higher
- Painful swelling of upper and lower eyelids
- Shiny, red or purple eyelid
- Eye pain, especially with movement
- Decreased vision
- Bulging eyes
- General malaise
- Painful or difficult eye movements
