How to Prepare for the Test?

You may be asked to fast before a bone biopsy. If the procedure will be performed using general anesthesia, fasting for 6 to 8 hours is usually required.

You must sign a consent form.

Infants and children:

The physical and psychological preparation you can provide for this or any test or procedure depends on your child's age, interests, previous experience, and level of trust.
