Normal Values

During pregnancy, abnormal levels of AFP (as part of a quadruple screen) may be due to: - Birth defects, including:
- Inaccurate due date
- Intrauterine death (usually results in a miscarriage)
- Multiple pregnancy (twins, triplets, etc.)
